چکیده
A novel Green’s function-free characteristic modes formulation is introduced in this work. The desired impedance or admittance matrix obtained utilizing and appropriately modifying the versatile finite element method. For purpose, generalized eigenvalue problem of electric magnetic field vector wave equation formulated. In case equation, using Schur complement, system reformulated expressed only terms tangential over radiating apertures, retaining equivalent currents. Similarly, current density on metallic surfaces isolated complement. both cases, split into its real imaginary part to yield problem. Key advantage proposed that it does not require evaluation function, thereby study any arbitrarily shaped, multilayered geometry loaded with anisotropic inhomogeneous materials feasible. To prove validity methodology various classical structures, homogeneous, materials, published bibliography are studied. Both eigenvalues eigenvectors compared results show good agreement.

A New Stress Based Approach for Nonlinear Finite Element Analysis
This article demonstrates a new approach for nonlinear finite element analysis. The methodology is very suitable and gives very accurate results in linear as well as in nonlinear range of the material behavior. Proposed methodology can be regarded as stress based finite element analysis as it is required to define the stress distribution within the structural body with structural idealization a...
متن کاملA Special Finite Element Method Based on Component Mode Synthesis
The goal of our paper is to introduce basis functions for the finite element discretization of a second order linear elliptic operator with rough or highly oscillating coefficients. The proposed basis functions are inspired by the classic idea of component mode synthesis and exploit an orthogonal decomposition of the trial subspace to minimize the energy. Numerical experiments illustrate the ef...
متن کاملFinite Element Characteristic Methods Requiring no Quadrature
The characteristic methods are known to be very efficient for convection-diffusion problems including the Navier-Stokes equations. Convergence is established when the integrals are evaluated exactly, otherwise there are even cases where divergence has been shown to happen. The family of methods studied here applies Lagrangian convection to the gradients and the function as in Yabe[?]; the metho...
متن کاملA Proposed Modeling Method in Finite Element Slope Stability Analysis
Limit-equilibrium method (LEM) and finite element method (FEM) with strength reduction method (SRM) techniques are the most widely used analysis tools in slope stability assessment. Recently, researchers have reported that both factor of safety (FOS) values and failure surfaces obtained from LEM and FEM are generally in good agreement, except in some particular cases. In this paper, the FOS and...
متن کاملFinite Element Analysis of Safety Mechanism in a Mechanical Controller
In this study, dynamic behavior of safety mechanism of a mechanical controller is investigated using 3D-FE simulation. This paper is concentrated on controller of a high acceleration projectile. The controller is located in the top of the projectile. Safety mechanism is divided to deformable and rigid parts. Deformable and rigid parts are simulated in Abaqus and Adams commercial soft wares; res...
